Hooray, it's that time of the year again! Are you in a lovely festive mood already, soaking up that wonderful holiday spirit? Cookies and candies, Christmas cards and carols, chimneys and candles, guns and grenades...

2024 was an exciting and challenging year for Far Cry. In addition to our annual Weekend Cup, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our favourite game with a whole week of tournaments and events. We worked hard on the add-on and the infrastructure behind it, improved the website and migrated the forum. We played brand-new maps together, captured a gazillion flags, rediscovered the OICW and fooled around on Teamspeak and in Discord. What are some of your favourite memories from 2024?

A small community like ours lives on the contributions of each and everyone of you. So thank you all for the good games and your support in keeping Far Cry alive. Let's hope we will have just as great a time together next year as well!

Holidays are coming!

They say no two snowflakes are the same. We like to believe this is also true of games: there is just no other shooter like Far Cry out there, is there?

As we happily waltz into the 22nd year with our favourite game, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have a loyal userbase who is regularly playing and participating in our community. This is what keeps Jack Carver's spirit alive. Through your generous donations you made it even possible to acquire a lifetime server this year, securing the online future of Far Cry for hopefully a very long time to come. Here's to you, treat yourselves to a giant jug of hot chocolate or egg nog and eat so much gingerbread till your Hawaiian shirts explode! You deserve it.
