    First at all, welcome to our forums! ;)


    This forum has been created for players which do acctually play the online game "FarCry".
    In this forum you can get in touch with other players, and/or get support or help whenever you need.
    Since this forum is part of the LRv2 extension, you can receive support and latest informations about updates, server stuff and mapping features.


    In the "Mapping" area you can talk about everything and anything that has todo about mapping. Some players like for example "Astaron" might give you some advice and help if you're into mapping or creating new maps for FarCry Multiplayer. :)


    In the LRv2/LRv3 area, clients and server admins can talk about suggestions, problems, bugs, improvements or just have a simple conversation that has todo with the LRv2/LRv3 extensions for FarCry.


    If you're just into getting in touch with some players, or to announce some game nights, saturday night fights, funwars, tournaments, etc. Than use the general forums, and in case it's about other games or something else, then just use the "Off-Topic" forum. :lol: :)


    When it's about registering to our forums: When you register to this forum you have to answer one of two simple questions. That way we avoid to receive spam registrations. ;)


    Which is the name of the FarCry Extension we offer?

  • Whitelist for Server Admins

    This topic includes a general list of players which are whitelisted on our FarCry Community Gameservers, all players are kept on the list to allow secure and fair playing and to keep ServerAdmins able to know who is playing on their servers.
    The following players on the list below are considered "Okay" by the server admins and are allowed to play on whitelisted gameservers.


    Server-Admins can post new entries of their whitelist on this topic to keep all community server up to date.


    To use this general Whitelist on your gameserver, just copy the following list bellow and paste it into the "Profiles/server/Whitelist.txt" on your gameserver. Everytime the whitelist gets changed the server is gonna load it automatically on every map switch.


    Usefull ingame server Whitelist administration
    It might happen at some point that an unknown player appears on your gameserver. To whitelist the player you can use the ingame "ServerAdmin QuickPanel", there you got some "Whitelist functions". To read out latest players, open the right list and select "Show", and click the "Pending" button on the left. The server might give and output about the last player joined


    In case none pending players have been found it might export: LR-Server: None pending players to whitelist!


    To add a pending player onto the whitelist while gaming, just go back into the "ServerAdmi-QuickPanel" and select on the same list "Add" or "Skip" to add the player onto the Whitelist, or to skip the player. (In case you wanna take a deeper look onto the player, just look into the LRGuid.txt to look up when the player joined and from which contry the player is)


    In case certain players you don't wish on your server have been whitelisted and are currently playing on the gameserver, just select ht player and use the "Remove" button of the "Whitelist functions" to remove the player again.


    The way adding or skipping players from being whitelisted is pretty easy for a ServerAdmin and the most secure system ever done in online gaming.

  • How to Install LR-V2 to your FarCry (Install Guide)


    In the following post we willl explain you how to install the LR-V2 onto your FarCry Game.


    Installation
    First at all visit the official webpage of LR and Download the Installer https://farcrylraddon.de/installation/
    Once downloaded open up the Zip file and start up the Installer Exe.


    Once startet up, just click "Next"


    Read the information below about the LRv2 Extension and click "Next"


    Read the license agreement, and chosse “I agree with the above terms and conditions” in case you accept them. Otherwise chosse “I do not agree” to cancel the installation.


    Select the path to your FarCry Directory and click “Next” to finalize the installation.
    For CD/DVD FarCry Players it used to be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry (or FarCry without Space)
    For Steam Players it used to be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry (or FarCry without Space)


    Review your chossen path where to install LRv2, and click “Start” to make the installation.


    Once the Installation is done. You got the LR-Launcher already launched. Otherwise just start it up using the new Icon you got on your Desktop.


    The LR-Launcher
    The LR-Launcher got a few usefull things to make it easier with FarCry to switch between LR and FarCry Patch 1.4


    On first running, you need to set the following stuff to configure it. To do that go to your Windows Notification Bar, and do right click onto the LR-Logo.


    Now go straight to the Settings part of the Launcher and configure a few stuff.
    (You can put your Ubisoft login data to it, which allows you to be automatically logged in into Ubisoft when starting the game through the Launcher.)


    Now just go to "Game Patch" and click "Select" and chosse your FarCry Path, than click "OK".


    Now just go back to your Windows Notification Bar, do right click on the LR Icon and go "Play", now you can choose between Normal FarCry or launching FarCry using the LR Extension V2.

    That's it, now just start up your Game and start Playing FarCry!

  • I got “Invalid CDKey” Error when starting FarCry!


    This problem is sometimes a Registry Problem! For Fix that please do the next Steps…
    (Fix tested on Windows 7 and 10)
    Step 1: Open up your start menu and in the search bar type “REGEDIT” and you should be presented with REGEDIT(.EXE) under the heading Programs. Click it to open it.


    Step 2: With the registry open you will see several folders that are variations of the name HKEY_. The one we are looking for is “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”. Once you’ve found that one click the little arrow to expand it.

    In the new list of folders find a folder called “SOFTWARE” and expand it again by hitting the little arrow.

    Finally also expand the “WOW6432Node” folder.


    Please Note: This next step is just like creating a folder in your Documents. Pay particular attention to the capitals and spacing in the new folders we are creating, it won’t work otherwise.


    Step 3: Right click the folder “WOW6432Node” and click NEW > KEY and name the folder/key “Crytek”. Once this Crytek folder is created right click it and select NEW > KEY and name this new folder/key “FarCry”. After doing this right click the new folder FarCry and select NEW > KEY and call this new folder “Ubi.com”.


    Step 4: Load up your FarCry, enter the CD key and that’s it! ;)

  • I got “Invalid CDKey” Error when starting FarCry! (Steam Users)


    In case you are a Steam users, and you are launching FarCry though Steam, than just use the following Fix:
    1. Close your FarCry and Steam.
    2. Right click on the Steam.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility Mode.
    3. Tick the "Run this program as Administrator" box and click "Ok".
    Now just Run Steam, and than launch FarCry. Normaly it should be fixed now.
    Otherwise, just do the same on the FarCry.exe

  • I got “Please, don’t play with a ‘…..’ in your FarCry Directory!”

    The Following Error just informs you about that you shouldn’t play with a specific file/directory in your FarCry Directory in this case marked as ….., which could be any named file/directory.
    Here an Example of dissalowed File when playing FarCry Multiplayer:

    To Fix that Error, just delete the named file/directory in ” from your FarCry Directory. Than Relaunch your FarCry Game and the error might be fixed. ;)
